    These are my thoughts and experiences when I stayed at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Jakarta, it is located in the iconic landmark complex of Plaza Indonesia on Jalan M.H. Thamrin. Grand Hyatt Jakarta is one of the largest hotels in Jakarta, Indonesia, and ideal base for business and leisure travellers alike. the hotel is adjacent to the shops of Plaza Indonesia and the entertainment centre which is really convenient for me and other guests to buy their own foods since the hotel only provides for breakfast. Guests will find the sight of the city within easy reach of the hotel including the National Museum, and the Presidential Palace, the hotel also located near the Bundaran HI MRT station that only takes a few minutes waling so it's easy for me to travel around with MRT while staying here.

    This wasn't my first time staying at this hotel, during Eid Mubarak holiday my big family usually decided to stay here or any other times with my family. The rooms are spacious and modern, and feature minimalist design and classic Indonesia accents. The luxurious amenities include a king-size or twin beds, a sofa, a high speed internet access, a wardrobe, a marble bathroom with bathtub and a shower. Furthermore, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a safe are provided in all accommodation standard.

    The hotel feature open air swimming pool with a poolside snack bar set in a lush Balinese garden, Grand Hyatt is one of the hotels that provides a vast area for their swimming pool which I really like it better than other hotel I've ever been to, there is a kid swimming pool as well. A fun part for me is that I ca enjoy a workout in the fully equipped gym and sauna that they have within the bathroom area of the gym. Guests can enjoy a wide range of dishes served at the hotel's food outlets from Asian to Western and local cuisine in award winning C's Steak and Seafood Restaurant, the Grand Cafe Jakarta, Sumire Japanese restaurant and many more. The best part is that me and my family like is their pastry and cake, after dinner we usually bought some slices of cake at their hotel's food outlet, as for me I really like their croissant and some other bakeries they provided.

    There are various range of guests who come here at the weekends, there are local guests like families or businessman and foreigners as well. There was one time I encountered a foreigner guest when I was in swimming pool and we had little chat for a moment, it was a pretty fun and new experience for me. Even though I've bee staying here for pretty often almost every year I never get bored. That showed how my family and I really enjoyed staying here, and I'm looking forward to those moments again in the future.
